Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Performance Technician 3 to perform advanced troubleshooting and complex service diagnosis, and to train other Field Performance team members. A valid Journeyman/Electrician certification is required by state regulations.

The role involves leading warranty/service scheduling, coordinating labor, and developing the field team while striving to exceed KPIs like turnaround time and dispatch rate. PV installation knowledge is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field construction experience, with at least 1 year in solar service.
• PV electrical experience preferred.
• Must hold a Journeyman License/Electrician Certification per state/local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain warranty and service schedule.
• Coordinate labor resources with Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and Branch Manager for service and warranty projects.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
• Support onboarding and training of new members of the field performance team.
• Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance KPIs including turnaround time, experience rating and dispatches completed.
