Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a Senior People Operations Partner to support field teams across multiple markets from our Brooklyn, NY office. The role blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution in a high-volume retail environment.

You will lead onboarding, hiring, performance coaching, and employee relations while ensuring compliant, people-first processes. Expect regular travel and close collaboration with store leaders and the HRBP team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR or People Ops experience supporting frontline, hourly teams.
• Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or high-volume environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to coach managers and partner with leaders to navigate employee relations.
• Experience using HR systems and tools (HRIS, ATS, Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Partner with field leadership to drive hiring strategy, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Coach and develop GMs, Shift Leads, and Operations Managers on performance and team dynamics.
• Lead employee relations matters and investigations with solid documentation and judgment.
• Align people programs with business priorities, tracking turnover and engagement trends.
• Travel across markets to support stores and maintain relationships with field teams.
