Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Field Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll processing and time records accuracy across assigned payrolls. You will collaborate with HR and other teams, ensuring compliance with laws and union contracts.

The role involves supervising a team, guiding work output, and resolving issues promptly. A background in multi-state payroll with union experience is preferred, with strong confidentiality and professional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Payroll multi-state tax knowledge required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Prefer experience with Fusion Oracle and Workday.
• Prefer union experience within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small or medium payroll team handling complex multi-state/union activities.
• Monitor workloads and prioritize team assignments.
• Train subordinates and conduct performance reviews as needed.
• Serve as a knowledge resource and mentor for Payroll staff.
• Assess risk and apply policy exceptions where necessary.
• Process, audit, and review timekeeping, payroll, and benefit setups and deductions.
• Audit time records across locations and ensure compliance.
• Resolve escalated employee issues within collective bargaining guidelines.
• Collaborate with HR on leave and location transfers.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and tax law changes.
