Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Payroll Supervisor to lead a payroll team and oversee multi-state and union payroll processing with a focus on accuracy and compliance. The role collaborates with HR and IT to resolve issues and improve processes.

The incumbent will audit timekeeping, manage deductions, ensure garnishments comply with laws, and support month-end close while mentoring staff and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data.

Qualifications

• Payroll multi-state tax knowledge required.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Fusion Oracle and Workday preferred.
• Union experience in construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small or medium team handling complex multi-state/union payrolls.
• Monitor workloads and prioritize team assignments.
• Train subordinates and conduct performance reviews.
• Serve as a resource/mentor for Payroll staff and related functions.
• Process, audit, and analyze timekeeping, payroll, and benefit setups.
• Audit time records for compliance and adjust as needed.
• Ensure garnishments comply with federal/state laws and tax rules.
• Collaborate with HR on leaves and transfers.
• Support payroll system testing and issue resolution.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end close.
