Rosendin in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Payroll Supervisor to oversee multi-state payroll processing and time records, ensuring accuracy and compliance across assigned payrolls. You will lead a small team, collaborate with HR, and coordinate with IT on system updates to support payroll operations.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in payroll, strong knowledge of multi-state tax, and experience with union contracts, Fusion Oracle, and Workday.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in finance, HR, accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum seven years of work experience in payroll, preferably with a union employer.
• Payroll, finance, and payroll tax training a plus, either formal classes or seminars.
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise payroll teams handling multi-state and union activities.
• Monitor workloads and prioritize assignments.
• Train subordinates and conduct performance reviews.
• Act as a mentor for Payroll staff and a resource for other business units.
• Decision-making authority on regional policy exceptions as needed.
• Process, audit, and review timekeeping, payroll, and deductions.
• Audit time records and ensure compliance with laws.
• Resolve escalated employee issues and verify payroll accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR on leave of absence and transfers.
• Support IT in fixing issues and testing payroll updates.
• Assist auditors with required payroll information.
