Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Field Payroll Supervisor to lead a payroll team responsible for accurate multi-state and union payroll processing. You will oversee time records, compliance, and issue resolution, guiding staff and coordinating with HR on leaves and transfers.

The role demands strong policy knowledge and professional handling of sensitive pay data. You will work with IT to resolve issues, test new payroll features, and support month-end closing.

Qualifications

• Seven years of payroll experience, preferably with a union employer.
• Associate degree or higher in finance, HR, accounting, or related field.
• Payroll, finance and payroll tax training is a plus.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and union contracts is preferred.
• Proficiency with Fusion Oracle and Workday is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a payroll team handling complex multi-state/union payrolls.
• Monitor workloads and prioritize team assignments.
• Train subordinates and conduct performance reviews when needed.
• Provide guidance to Payroll staff and other business functions.
• Assess risk and authorize policy-exception decisions within guidelines.
• Process, audit, and review timekeeping, payroll, and benefits setups.
• Audit time records from various locations and make adjustments.
• Ensure garnishments comply with federal/state laws and review taxability of per diems.
