Job summary

Clark Construction seeks an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations and ensure work aligns with the project schedule. You will supervise subcontractors, monitor milestones, and enforce safety and quality controls on active sites.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in construction management, a relevant degree, and strong knowledge of scheduling, contract docs, and tools like Procore and Bluebeam. On-site role with significant field activity.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in an engineering, architecture, construction mgmt or related field preferred.
• 3–6 years of field construction management experience directing subcontractors.
• Proven ability to read contract docs, schedules, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work per contract documents and schedule.
• Monitor milestone dates and drive activities to meet them.
• Understand scope of work and duration of activities for assigned trades.
• Plan equipment use and ensure material deliveries align with work areas.
• Lead field workforce to deliver work cost-effectively within budget.
• Implement and enforce safety programs and government standards.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify talent, recruit, and retain top industry professionals.
