Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent to oversee medium to large projects, ensuring all contracted work is delivered in line with safety, quality, management and financial performance requirements. You will coordinate staffing, materials, and on-site activity to meet customer delivery goals.

You will recruit and manage project staff, serve as the on-site liaison with customers, monitor profitability, deadlines, and budgets, review job costs, and drive process improvements with the Training Department

Qualifications

• Experience leading large project teams and coordinating field operations.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and financial performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and discipline project staff per company policies.
• Plan for profitability and ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage workload distribution and staffing levels on site.
• Review job cost postings and prepare invoices and financial reports.
• Ensure quality checks, prevent outages and conduct daily job walks.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings when required.
• Develop and implement process improvements to raise efficiency.
• Coordinate with Training Department on safety and quality issues.
