Job summary

Murata Machinery USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Operations Leader to oversee field installation teams across North America. You will hire, develop, and manage site leaders, technicians, safety personnel, and contractors; coordinate with Japan and MMUSA leaders to drive installation objectives and schedules.

The role requires managing projects >$50M in value, budgets >$5M, and traveling up to 25%. You will implement KPI tracking, ensure safety and quality, and partner with operations to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with more than 5 years of complex project/site leadership experience; or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of site management and scheduling experience on large technical installations with customer management reporting.
• Technical degree preferred and Japanese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations teams at multiple customer sites or large single sites.
• Hire, train, and manage diverse teams of leaders, quality, technical and safety personnel.
• Manage project execution and budgets across sites, including >$50M in value and >$5M in labor/contract budgets.
• Coordinate with MMUSA and Japan (MML) leadership to align objectives and drive installation success.
• Develop long-term plans and schedules to support projects with trained personnel, contractors, and materials.
