Job summary

Murata-Machinery- is seeking an On-Site Project Manager/Assistant Site Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and commissioning scope of AMHS installation equipment at customer facilities. The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and quality, with extensive site leadership responsibilities and travel up to 90%.

The ideal candidate has an AS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of semiconductor automation experience, with bilingual English/Japanese preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 3 years semiconductor automation experience.
• Equivalent education and experience considered.
• Bilingual English and Japanese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site project execution and ensure safe, on-time installation.
• Supervise personnel at site and manage installation plans.
• Coordinate with customer and contractors; manage changes and documentation.
• Prepare installation reports and support project handover.
• Read and interpret project schedules and milestones.
