Job summary

Murata Machinery is seeking an On-Site Project Manager/Assistant Site Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities for AMHS installation at customer facilities.

The role requires coordinating safety, schedule, resources, and stakeholder communications; traveling up to 90% and staying onsite for extended periods.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, 3 years semiconductor automation experience, and bilingual English/Japanese.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years of semiconductor automation experience
• Bilingual English and Japanese preferred
• Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 90% and work on-site

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installation activities for ME and EC scopes
• Read project schedules and ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate installation resources and liaise with customer
• Manage changes and update project plans and documentation
• Facilitate project closure and handover
• Develop installation quality and risk plans
• Coach Murata and contractor teams
