Job summary

Flagger Force, LLC is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead field operations across an assigned territory in the eastern United States. The role includes coaching field crews, ensuring safety, maintaining client relationships, and guiding pre‑construction planning with internal partners.

Travel to job sites and active performance management are core duties. Responsibilities include hiring where needed, conducting annual reviews, reporting, and collaborating with Safety and Operations.

Qualifications

• Must pass Work Zone Leadership course with 80% or higher.
• Maintain valid internal training certifications through Flagger Force Academy.
• Must hold all required Department of Transportation qualifications for assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license in accordance with Flagger Force motor vehicle record standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides day‑to‑day leadership to assigned field personnel.
• Directs and oversees the work of assigned field employees.
• Builds strong relationships with clients and municipalities within the territory.
• Lead the pre‑construction management process, including client meetings and job planning.
• Travel daily to job site locations to observe operations and complete reporting.
• Submit HR requests and deliver coaching, corrective action, and discipline as required.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Human Resources and other internal departments.
