Job summary

Flagger Force is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead field operations across an assigned territory, ensuring safety, service quality, and strong client relationships. You will coach field staff, perform performance reviews, and oversee pre-construction planning while coordinating with DOT representatives and local municipalities.

Qualifications

• Must pass Work Zone Leadership course with 80% or higher.
• Maintain internal training certifications through Flagger Force Academy.
• Must hold required DOT qualifications for the territory.
• Valid driver’s license per company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication; problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership in coaching and supervising teams.
• Ability to manage time and high-stress situations.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach field personnel on a daily basis.
• Oversee field operations and performance reporting.
• Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
• Build relationships with clients, DOT reps, and municipalities.
• Conduct regular job site visits and safety observations.
• Travel daily within the territory to sites.
• Lead pre-construction planning and client meetings.
• Submit timely work zone observations and reports.
• Coordinate with Safety, HR, and Operations teams.
