Job summary

Flagger Force in the United States seeks an Associate Director of Field Operations to lead and coordinate field activities across multiple markets. You will guide Field Managers, drive safety, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction while aligning with our mission and values.

This role focuses on leadership development, strategic planning, KPI monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to improve performance and growth in assigned territories. Extensive travel to field sites is expected.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee multiple Field Managers and field leadership teams across assigned territories.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and evaluate Field Managers, Area Supervisors, Field Specialists, and field personnel.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, annual performance reviews, and corrective action procedures.
• Develop succession plans and maintain leadership bench strength to support operational growth.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and retain field operations personnel.
• Foster a positive, high-accountability work environment focused on teamwork, safety, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
• Lead weekly and monthly operational meetings with field leadership teams.
• Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations, investigations, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Support cross-functional operational initiatives and Operations Services Center leadership.
• Oversee and support all field operations activities within assigned territories.
• Ensure successful planning, coordination, and execution of field operations according to operational and customer requirements.
• Monitor operational progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines, quality standards, safety expectations, and business objectives.
• Allocate field resources effectively to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational standards, procedures, goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives.
