Job summary

Eversource in Connecticut is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead the safe and efficient execution of electric distribution and transmission work. You will coordinate multiple teams, ensure adherence to safety policies, and maintain strong customer service during outages.

This role acts as the local technical lead for other supervisors, coaches staff, and reallocates resources as priorities shift. You will participate in on-call rotations and emergency restoration duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
• 8–10 years of related experience with prior supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of electric distribution/transmission systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the safe execution of field activities and operations.
• Set safety expectations and provide ongoing feedback to employees.
• Conduct performance reviews and address issues per bargaining unit contract.
• Manage labor relations and grievances with managers and employees.
• Lead pre-construction reviews and coordinate with other departments/contractors.
• Ensure work is completed within budget guidelines and proper records.
• Represent Eversource in department and community meetings when needed.
• Fulfill emergency response duties and on-call rotations as required.
• Coordinate with external utilities and contractors for field operations.
