Job summary

Eversource Energy Hartford, CT is seeking a Senior Supervisor for electric distribution and transmission. You will lead safety-focused field activities, coordinate resources, and mentor supervisors to deliver timely, within-budget work with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include acting as local technical lead, coaching staff, managing union contracts, and representing the company at meetings. Strong communication and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Minimum of eight to ten years of related experience.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Experience in electric distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the safe execution of field activities and promote safety culture.
• Sets priorities and allocates resources to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Provides ongoing feedback and conducts performance reviews.
• Ensures proper application of local union contracts and resolves grievances.
• Coordinates work with utilities, Eversource departments, and outside contractors.
• Ensures work is completed within budgetary guidelines.
• Prepares and reviews time, expenses, and materials records.
• Maintains a customer-first attitude and resolves customer issues.
• Fulfills storm duty assignments and participates in on-call rotation.
