Job summary

BRINKMAN CONSTRUCTION INC in Colorado is seeking a General Superintendent to provide decisive leadership of field management and craft teams, overseeing multiple ground-up projects from preconstruction through closeout, with emphasis on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.

You will mentor staff, drive a strong safety culture, manage procurement and change orders, and maintain client relationships while ensuring adherence to contracts and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15-20+ years of experience with a General Contractor.
• 10+ years in a lead role across ground-up projects (commercial, multi-family, healthcare, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling and PM tools.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, SWMP, and Colorado Class A license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field management and craft teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Mentor staff, set performance expectations, and provide feedback.
• Oversee budget, procurement, change orders, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with project teams on buyouts, risk factors, and logistics.
• Monitor project status, costs and reporting, ensuring alignment with contracts.
