Job summary

Brinkmann Constructors is seeking an on-site Superintendent to monitor safety, coordinate construction activities, and supervise field personnel to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

You will enforce safety and quality standards, manage resources, review shop drawings, and drive continuous improvement across diverse commercial markets. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience as lead superintendent on ground-up projects
• Experience leading diverse commercial markets including high-rise, multifamily, hospitality or industrial projects
• Proven safety protocol implementation and on-site enforcement experience
• Ability to identify solutions and alternatives to complex construction challenges
• Motivated, driven, and skilled at coordinating subcontracted work and teams
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with ProCore, P6, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute and enforce safety standards and conduct weekly safety inspections and audits
• Enforce quality standards and perform quality control audits
• Manage construction requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate and review shop drawings and submittals
• Direct and monitor construction site activities
• Oversee mitigation of issues and critical path recovery
• Plan resources (manpower, equipment, materials) within budget
• Maintain daily field logs detailing production and work areas
• Maintain project scope and budget through PO/SWD communication
• Develop schedules reflecting approved scope and changes (CPM)
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations
• Prepare project closeout and demobilization processes
• Foster positive client relationships for repeat business
