Job summary

West Fraser is seeking a senior leader to guide an eight-person field marketing team across assigned territories. The role focuses on strategic alignment with sales and marketing objectives, coaching, and coaching talent development.

You will drive market coverage, customer relationships, and technical product messaging while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Remote work with regular regional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or industry.
• 10+ years of experience in home/industrial construction markets and field marketing.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and performance management capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop eight field marketing professionals across designated territories.
• Set priorities and performance objectives aligned with sales and marketing goals.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, field visits, and career development planning.
• Promote a safe, inclusive work environment and West Fraser values.
• Allocate territories and workloads to optimize market coverage and service.
• Oversee regional marketing programs with dealers, builders, contractors, and architects.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive service and technical support.
• Coordinate product messaging and internal support for technical questions.
• Monitor market intelligence and report on usage, needs, and competitive threats.
