Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Field Engineering Subject Matter Expert focused on Workplace delivery. This role defines scoping, preparation, delivery, validation, and improvement of large, repeatable workplace programs across multiple sites with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will build standards, work packages, and training artifacts, support complex deployments, and drive lessons learned into stronger delivery practices while maintaining close alignment with sales, solutions, and costing

Qualifications

Ten+ years in workplace technology, field deployment, or related services delivery.
Experience delivering complex multi-site or enterprise projects.
Understanding of field implementation, sequencing, and validation.
Experience building standards, playbooks, checklists, and training materials.

Responsibilities

Serve as the practice-level technical authority for Workplace delivery across Field Engineering.
Review scope, field conditions, assumptions, and risks for complex opportunities.
Define repeatable deployment methods, readiness criteria, and acceptance evidence.
Develop and maintain standards, work packages, and testing requirements.
Support engineers and delivery teams during deployments and escalations.
Assess partner capability and readiness for defined work types.
