Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Construction Engineering Leader for a New Albany, Ohio project. You will organize and direct construction engineering personnel, manage subcontracts, and liaise with design functions to ensure that drawings and specs are properly interpreted on site.

You will supervise field verification of materials, provide technical direction to engineers and superintendents, and coordinate cost estimates, requisitions, and project controls.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 8–14 years of relevant construction engineering experience.
• Experience supervising construction engineers and coordinating with subcontractors and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative direction to assigned construction engineers.
• Oversee design/interface with engineering, cost control, and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer to ensure deliverables and approvals.
• Direct preparation of cost estimates, requisitions, and material coordination.
• Ensure field verification, QA/QC and adherence to SWPPs and safety standards.
