Job summary

Computacenter seeks a Field Engineering Subject Matter Expert focused on Low Voltage and Infrastructure Cabling. This senior individual contributor drives standards, work packages, and scalable delivery across North America Field Engineering.

The role interfaces with Sales, Solutions, and Estimating to ensure feasible, properly scoped work and effective risk management. You will lead site surveys, pathway planning, and acceptance criteria while supporting complex deployments, escalations, and

Qualifications

Ten+ years in low voltage/structured cabling and complex field delivery.
Experience interpreting drawings, specs, and bills of materials.
Willingness to travel and support field activities.
BICSI/RCDD, RTPM, or equivalent credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical authority for Low Voltage/Infrastructure Cabling across Field Engineering.
Review scope, field conditions, and acceptance criteria for complexity and risk.
Develop and maintain technical standards, work packages, and testing requirements.
Define site survey, pathways, racks, grounding interfaces, and acceptance criteria.
Support Engineers and delivery teams during deployments and escalations.
Assess partner capability and readiness for defined work types.
Translate field learnings into improved standards and artifacts.
