Computacenter is seeking a Field Engineering Subject Matter Expert focused on Low Voltage and Infrastructure Cabling to shape how complex physical infrastructure work is scoped, delivered, tested, and accepted across our North America Field Engineering organization.

The role blends hands-on field delivery with the creation of standards, work packages, training, and scalable delivery capability, collaborating with Sales, Solutions, and Costing to ensure technically feasible and well-scoped

Formación

• Ten+ years of progressive experience in low voltage and structured cabling.
• Experience leading large field deployments and creating repeatable standards.
• Ability to read drawings and assess buildability.
• Experience with field education, training, and SOW inputs.
• Strong communication across Sales, Solutions, and Operations.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the practice level technical authority for Low Voltage / Infrastructure Cabling.
• Review scope and field conditions to validate feasibility and acceptance requirements.
• Develop and maintain repeatable technical standards and documentation.
• Define site survey and buildability requirements for pathways, racks, and cabinets.
• Support Project Engineers during complex deployments and escalations.
• Define training and qualification expectations for Field Engineering teams.
• Analyze defects and translate lessons into stronger standards and guidance.
• Review field requirements to improve future labor assumptions and delivery methods.
