Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a senior Field Engineering SME focused on Low Voltage and Infrastructure Cabling for its North America organization. The role blends hands-on field work with developing standards, work packages, and scalable delivery.

You will support sales, validate feasibility, and drive repeatable delivery methods across projects. The successful candidate will define site survey requirements, lead complex deployments, and mentor delivery teams while traveling regularly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in low voltage and structured cabling delivery with large-scale projects.
• Field delivery depth across copper/fiber, pathways, termination and testing.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, BOMs and installation standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for Low Voltage and Infrastructure Cabling delivery.
• Review scope, field conditions, and assumptions for complex opportunities.
• Develop repeatable standards, work packages, and acceptance criteria.
• Support field teams during deployments, escalations and quality issues.
• Define training and qualification expectations for Field Engineering staff.
