Job summary

Bechtel invites applications for a Project Field Engineer/Lead Engineer on LNG plant projects along the US Gulf Coast. You will lead a team, plan work, manage materials and quantities, and ensure safety, quality, and timely system turnover.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience, plus the ability to relocate/move as needed and collaborate across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10-13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in overseeing the installation and inspection of rotating and static equipment.
• Experience in commissioning of rotating and/or static equipment.
• Experience in leading teams.
• Experience with BookBuilder and UPV.
• Experience in managing TEAMWorks data and reporting quantities in TEAMWorks.
• Familiarity with ASME and API standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer or Project Field Engineer coordinating a variety of disciplines on medium to large projects.
• Coordinate with design on constructability issues.
• Review inspection plans and coordinate subcontractor submittals.
• Oversee safety and quality control within the field.
• Coordinate system turnover and area turnover as required.
