Job summary

Roche Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Field Engineering Specialist to cover the San Francisco Bay Area. You will install, maintain, and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment, monitor performance, and train regional staff.

This field-based role requires up to 70% travel and residency in the SF Bay Area. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in repairing or servicing complex hardware/software, or a Biomedical/Engineering degree with related experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering/chemistry field with related experience.
• 5+ years repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or 1–2 years with a Bachelor's in a related field.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment.
• Analyze and repair complex problems or escalate as needed.
• Provide second-level regional support and on-site training.
• Mentor and train other field staff and share knowledge.
