Job summary

DuraServ is seeking experienced technicians who diagnose with precision, install with pride, and own the outcome. You’ll work independently on complex service calls and installations, making technical decisions in the field.

You’ll read manuals and wiring diagrams, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and maintain safe job sites. This role rewards hands-on skills, reliability, and a commitment to high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license with daily field travel
• Able to meet physical demands: outdoors, frequent ladder use, lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards (doors, levelers, related systems)
• Diagnose root causes through mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Read and interpret manuals and wiring diagrams to guide diagnostics and repairs
• Document service activity with precision (parts used, work performed, recommendations)
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide real-time job status updates
• Support larger installations and stay flexible to changing schedules
