Job summary

DuraServ is seeking experienced technicians to diagnose, install, and maintain commercial dock and door systems. You will work on rolling/open sectional doors, dock levelers, and related equipment, performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and on-site diagnostics.

Independent work style, adherence to safety policies, and clear customer communication are essential. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in dock/door systems, a valid driver’s license, and hands-on welding or electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Valid, current state-issued driver’s license; daily field travel to customer sites.
• Ability to meet physical demands: outdoor fieldwork, frequent ladder use, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Trade school diploma or equivalent valued; welding, mechanical, hydraulics, or electrical experience preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial dock and door systems including sectional/rolling doors and dock levelers.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to diagnose root causes, not symptoms.
• Read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical docs to guide diagnostics and repairs.
• Document all service activity with precision and communicate clearly with customers.
