Job summary

DuraServ seeks experienced field technicians to diagnose, install, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment across the Raleigh area. You will work independently on site, own complex service calls, and make technical decisions in the field to keep facilities running smoothly.

We value hands-on experience with welding, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and you must be able to manage fieldwork safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license; travel to customer sites daily.
• Ability to meet physical demands: outdoor fieldwork, frequent ladder use, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school valued.
• Hands-on experience with welding, mechanical systems, hydraulics, or electrical work.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial dock and door systems including sectional/rolling doors, dock levelers, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosing root causes.
• Use hand/tools and welding equipment to fabricate installation hardware as needed.
• Read and interpret manuals and wiring diagrams to guide diagnostics and repairs.
