Job summary

Yates Construction Co. seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for complex projects and multiple phases. You will work with the Project Manager to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals are met, while mentoring field staff and guiding execution strategies.

You will oversee field operations, coordinate trades, lead coordination meetings, and manage site logistics, CPM scheduling, and inspections, all while maintaining strong owner and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 8–10 years of industry experience with leadership of major scopes or full projects.
• Experience managing scopes or projects valued at $250MM+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for major project scopes or full project execution.
• Coordinate and schedule work of tradespeople, subcontractors, professionals, and laborers.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors, owner, architect, and design partners.
• Provide direction to Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Develop site logistics plans, crane plans, and phased jobsite utilization plans.
• Manage CPM schedule, short-term look-aheads, and recovery strategies when needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
