Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in CM, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Alternative education/experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum six years’ industry experience.
• Experience managing a scope of work over $1MM.
• Ability to read blueprints and specs.
• Mentoring and evaluating assistants and foremen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors and subcontractors.
• Schedule activities of trades, communicate instructions, and assign work.
• Lead preconstruction meetings with subcontractors before each phase.
• Plan manpower and onsite personnel needs.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Manage safety, quality, risk, and project compliance.
• Oversee equipment and site logistics; manage weekly trades’ activities.
• Review quantity takeoffs and materials management; track milestones.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate CPM schedule development.
