Job summary

Yates Construction Co. seeks a Superintendent to monitor, direct, and coordinate field operations for a specific project area, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence.

You will collaborate with project management, engineers, architects, owners, and subcontractors, mentor junior staff, conduct preconstruction and toolbox meetings, and drive proactive problem solving on site.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in CM, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Substitution of other education or experience may be considered.
• Minimum of six (6) years of industry experience.
• Experience managing a scope of work over $1MM.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors; direct trades on site.
• Plan manpower and personnel needs for on-site operations.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings; oversee safety, quality, risk, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain site logistics; manage quantity takeoffs and materials.
