Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field)
• Six or more years in the industry
• Experience managing scopes over $1MM
• Strong planning and scheduling skills
• Understanding of business/financial principles to monitor expenses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel)
• Ability to read and interpret technical specs, blueprints, manuals and drawings

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Schedule activities of tradespeople and laborers; distribute work instructions
• Lead preconstruction meetings with subcontractors
• Plan manpower needs on site
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Manage safety, quality, risk and compliance for project and team members
• Oversee site equipment and logistics (cranes, trailers, trucks, etc.)
• Monitor weekly trade activities and progress vs. plan
• Review project documents, specs and drawings to drive execution
• Develop and maintain site logistics plans and scopes of work
• Conduct constructability reviews and recovery planning as needed
• Support project management in CPM scheduling and milestone tracking
• Assist with project close-out and punch list resolution
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Yates site requirements
