Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a Construction Coordinator in Pascagoula, MS to perform construction coordination for small to moderate assignments under general supervision. You will work closely with the construction contractor to plan daily field tasks, coordinate logistics, monitor performance against milestones, and develop work-around plans to mitigate delays.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; BS/MS in Construction Science or related field preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of construction safety requirements and commitment to zero accidents.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial construction coordination and administration experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and PPE-related safety skills.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and application of company standards.
• Extensive knowledge of construction safety requirements, with a commitment to a zero accidents environment.
• Working closely with the construction contractor to plan and coordinate daily field and construction tasks and logistical activities.
• Serve as the “first line” coordinator for all contractor activities.
• Monitoring contractor performance against contract milestones and completion dates as well as performance as it relates to the other activities on-site to identify conflicts or potential delays.
• Developing work-around plans to mitigate conflicts or delays in concert with other construction coordinators.
