ECOM is seeking a Communications Technician to implement and support leading telecom technologies as part of the IT team. You will gain hands-on experience with challenging projects while working with a seasoned network of professionals.

The role includes regional field support, fault isolation, and 24/7 on-call coverage. You will train field personnel and coordinate with internal teams to meet project objectives across Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Electronics or 7+ years field experience required.
• FCC license preferred; CCNA certification is a plus.
• 7+ years installation/maintenance of telecom systems (wireless data, SCADA, LAN cabling) required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently of direct supervision and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to interact with internal and external teams/clients to solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot communication systems (voice, data, SCADA, video, microwave, satellite).
• Support projects group with implementation of project-related systems.
• Direct local contractors for telecom installations and maintenance.
• Provide first-level training to field operations personnel.
• Act as liaison between field operations and IT organization.
• Drive field standards and give feedback to engineering teams.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support.
• Travel up to 40%.
