Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Procurement professional to develop and manage project master purchase agreements and pro-forma terms. You will translate engineering and commercial data into compliant purchase documents and coordinate with Finance, Tax, and Logistics teams.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier management, and the ability to administer buy-orders from pre-award to closeout on a large LNG project. Portland, TX based with full-time on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (or international equivalent).
• Experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract terms.
• Knowledge of bid processes, supplier qualification, and price negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Form and administer purchase orders and related commitments.
• Communicate requirements clearly with suppliers and Bechtel teams.
• Prepare bidder pre-qualifications, bid lists, and bid analyses.
• Adhere to project sourcing strategy and vendor approval processes.
• Manage supplier performance and issues, including backcharges and claims.
