Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Staff Scientist, Field Applications to solve complex biologics purification and processing challenges. You will act as a technical expert in downstream methods, supporting customers, sales, and internal partners while advancing product development.

The role involves delivering training, optimizing applications, and presenting solutions to help customers scale from lab to manufacturing while working remotely across the San Francisco/Northern California

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 6+ years in chromatography/bioprocessing
• Strong customer-facing technical support and training experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical training and troubleshoot applications for customers
• Support customers across our technology platforms in downstream processing
• Lead strategic projects and collect customer feedback for R&D
• Collaborate with sales and internal teams to enable field success
