Job summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Staff Scientist, Field Applications, to join our team and enable customers to solve complex downstream purification challenges. You will act as a technical expert across chromatography and bioprocessing, delivering training, optimizing applications, troubleshooting, and presenting solutions to diverse audiences.
This field-facing role involves collaborative work with sales and internal partners, supporting customers from lab scale to manufacturing scale
Qualifications
- Advanced degree with relevant chromatography/bioprocessing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in chromatography or bioprocessing.
- Strong customer-facing technical support and training experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Talk through approaches and demonstrate technologies to customers.
- Support adoption of solutions from lab to manufacturing scale bioproduction.
- Lead strategic projects and provide customer feedback to R&D.
