Job summary

Repligen seeks a Field Application Scientist in the San Francisco Bay Area to support upstream product lines and bioprocessing applications. You will partner with customers and the sales team to evaluate, implement and optimize technologies like XCell ATF, hollow fiber systems and TFF platforms.

You will translate complex concepts for diverse audiences, perform on-site demonstrations, and contribute to technical resources while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, biochemistry or chemical engineering.
• 5+ years in cell culture within bioprocessing, process development or tech support.
• Knowledge of perfusion, ATF/TFF, scale-up and cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for upstream product portfolio.
• Deliver technical seminars and on-site/in-lab demonstrations.
• Troubleshoot processes, perform root-cause analysis and give data-driven recommendations.
• Draft technical protocols, reports and application summaries from customer work.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, R&D and Marketing to drive success.
