Job summary

Super Micro Computer Spain, S.L. seeks a Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) to drive revenue growth by leading FAEs, architecting technical solutions, and coordinating pre-sales activities with sales teams.

You will engage customers from ground to executive levels and manage cross-functional projects to meet customer requirements. The role emphasizes technical leadership, hardware/software integration expertise, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• RequiresBachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering.
• Minimum eight years of related experience with compute/storage server, data center or IT infrastructure.
• Strong background in x86-based server architecture and hardware system diagnostics.
• Familiarity with firmware, Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration across multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead and mentor FAEs to support revenue growth at key accounts.
• Act as solution architect and help expand Fortune 1000 account penetration.
• Collaborate with sales to map customer requirements to optimized technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in pre-sales and oversee solution implementation.
• Engage with C-level technical customers and build trust.
