Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join a growing team in the United States. The FAE will work with customers from ground to executive level, manage projects with internal and external teams, and help grow the business through customer-focused solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience.
• Analytical mindset with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Experience configuring Supermicro or related products.
• Experience in business IT systems, datacenter builds, server and/or workstation technology.
• Prior Server FAE/Sales Engineer/Solution Architect experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer technical issues and drive them to closure.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Management, and Operations teams to implement customer solutions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Management, and Operations teams to support the customer.
• Guide customer projects and delivery together with Sales and Operations teams; attention to detail in multi-part projects.
• Understand system hardware and software interactions and communicate that information to internal stakeholders.
