Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking experienced Senior Superintendents for large-scale long-haul fiber installation projects. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, and mentor the field team across multiple sites in North America.

The role requires 8+ years in telecommunications construction supervision, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of construction documents and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
• Post-secondary education in Construction or Engineering is an asset.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and codes.
• Develop project plans, monitor progress, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Mentor and lead the field team, including Superintendents and staff.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs and oversee incident investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project scheduling.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects and assist with subcontractor and supplier selection.
