Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking experienced Senior Superintendents to lead day-to-day field operations on large-scale long-haul fiber installation projects across North America and multiple states. The role involves developing project plans, monitoring performance, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with plans, schedules, safety programs, and building codes.

Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications construction supervision.
• Strong leadership and communications skills.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subs.
• Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specs, and practices.
• Experience with underground fiber installation and boring/plow methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on large-scale fiber installation projects.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
• Estimate activity durations and materials; review financial reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Prioritize work and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents.
