Job summary

Computacenter seeks a Principal Consultant to lead senior technical engagements in hyperscale data-center fiber infrastructure. You will design, test, and verify high-density cabling and backbone networks, guiding teams and clients through complex deployments.

You will apply deep expertise in MPO/MTP, single-mode/multimode fibers, and industry standards to ensure robust, scalable solutions across large facilities. This role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on fiber infrastructure experience in hyperscale data centers.
• BICSI DCDC and RCDD certifications are required.
• Experience in high-density fiber design, installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior technical engagement with clients and project teams.
• Develop fiber infrastructure designs and BOMs for large-scale deployments.
• Review fiber layouts, matrices, and test reports for accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Identify risks, plan mitigations, and drive on-time project delivery.
