Job summary

The Gettys Group Companies in Chicago, IL seeks a Project Manager of Procurement to lead hospitality FF&E procurement projects from design development through completion. You will manage budgets, bidding, purchasing, expediting, logistics, and installation, while serving as the main client contact and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in hospitality procurement and project management.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality FF&E and OS&E procurement.
• Experience with specifications, supplier selection, costing, bidding, POs, expediting, logistics, and project closeout.
• Excellent client-facing and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospitality FF&E procurement projects from inception through completion with Procurement leadership.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, bidding, bid analysis, purchasing, expediting, logistics, installation coordination, and closeout.
• Translate design specifications into procurement documentation including RFQs and purchase orders.
• Serve as primary client contact, communicating status, risks, decisions, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, vendors, freight partners, and stakeholders.
• Oversee multiple projects and priorities, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Provide direction and quality control for project teams.
• Maintain knowledge of brands, FF&E/OS&E requirements, pricing, and lead times.
• Identify risks and work with the team to develop solutions.
• Participate in industry events, vendor meetings, and hospitality networking.
