Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager - FERC to join our Planning, Permitting and Licensing practice in the Southeast Region. Location flexibility includes TX, LA, AL, FL, GA with preference for TX-based talent.

The role focuses on managing environmental reports and permitting for 7c/b traditional and pre-filing projects, coordinating with technical teams, and leading client engagement to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biology or related field; NEPA/Environmental planning experience preferred.
8–15 years managing environmental planning, permitting and licensing for oil & gas midstream projects.
Strong verbal, written and client management skills; proven leadership in complex projects.
Local regulatory experience in the Southeast with USACE, USFWS, state agencies and local governments.
Experience authoring natural resources reports and environmental assessments/statements.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental reports and permitting for midstream/FERC projects.
Manage budgets, scope and schedules; ensure quality and profitability.
Direct NEPA planning, including Environmental Assessments and EIS.
Lead USACE permitting (404) and ESA habitat assessments; coordinate with technical teams.
Mentor staff and develop project managers; support business development.
