Job summary

ERM is seeking a Principal Consultant, Environmental FERC Project Manager in the United States. You will lead complex FERC-regulated energy projects, guiding permitting, compliance, and policy engagement across multi-site efforts.

Qualifications

6+ years in environmental impact assessment and permitting for FERC-regulated projects.
Prior consulting experience and FERC project expertise essential.
At least 5 years managing large-scale natural gas and LNG permitting projects.
Deep knowledge of NEPA and major natural resource regulations (CWA, NHPA, ESA).

Responsibilities

Manage large, multi-faceted projects with defined scope, budget, and timelines.
Act as primary client contact and lead interdisciplinary teams through permitting and compliance.
Oversee FERC applications and coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.
Develop technical proposals and identify new opportunities with clients.
Maintain strong client relationships and represent ERM in regulatory meetings.
Ensure quality control across environmental impact assessments and deliverables.
