Amentum is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for Federal proposals, translating client needs, capture strategies, and compliance into compelling, compliant, and cost-effective solutions. Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• 10+ years of FAR-based and OTA federal solutions development experience.
• Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in engineering, CS, IT, or related field; 8+ years could substitute.
• Strong systems engineering background with multidisciplinary systems integration.
• Hands-on experience architecting technical solutions for Federal proposals.
• Ownership of technical proposal sections or full technical volumes.
• Ability to translate customer needs, capture strategy, and compliance into proposal content.
• Understanding of federal growth lifecycle: BD, capture, solutioning, proposal, customer positioning.
• Excellent technical writing to explain complex engineering concepts clearly.
• Experience interviewing SMEs and turning inputs into structured content.
• Experience across systems engineering, mission IT, cloud, cybersecurity, operations, or mission support.
• Experience with teaming partners to integrate capabilities and pricing inputs.
• Knowledge of AI/ML platforms and tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical architect across pursuit lifecycle and growth team.
• Provide end-to-end thought leadership for proposal responses (technical solution, staffing, schedule, BOE).
• Demonstrate expert technical writing for artifacts, white papers, SOWs, briefings, proposals.
• Collaborate with teaming partners to develop solutions and pricing.
• Explore new technologies to drive solution innovation and alignment with capture strategy.
• Capture and translate requirements and compliance into proposal content for varied audiences.
• Lead and mentor junior staff in responding to RFIs/RFPs.
• Work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
