Amentum is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy and proposal response for Federal pursuits. You will drive the development of technical solutions, staffing approaches, and BOE inputs, interfacing with Business Development, Capture, SMEs, and partners.

The role requires outstanding technical writing, experience with FAR/OTA proposals, and a strong background in systems engineering, cloud and mission support. A Secret clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in FAR-based and OTA Federal technical solutions development.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT, or related field; 8+ years may substitute.
• Strong systems engineering with multidisciplinary systems integration.
• Hands-on experience architecting technical solutions for federal proposals.
• Proven ownership of technical proposal sections or full technical volumes.
• Translate customer needs, capture strategy, compliance, and inputs into proposal content.
• Strong federal growth lifecycle knowledge: BD, capture, solutioning, proposal, customer positioning.
• Outstanding technical writing to explain complex engineering concepts clearly.
• Experience interviewing SMEs and turning technical inputs into structured content.
• Experience across systems engineering, mission IT, cloud, cybersecurity, ops/maintenance, or mission support.
• Teaming with partners to integrate capabilities and pricing inputs.
• Knowledge of AI/ML platforms and tools.

Responsabilités

• Serve as senior technical architect across pursuit lifecycle and growth team.
• Provide end-to-end thought leadership on proposal responses (technical solution, staffing, schedule, BOE).
• Lead technical writing for artifacts, white papers, statements of work, briefings, and proposals.
• Collaborate with teaming partners to develop technical solutions and pricing.
• Explore new approaches to drive solution innovation and align with capture strategy.
• Capture business/technical requirements and translate to audiences of varying technical levels.
• Mentor junior staff in responding to RFIs/RFPs.
• Work independently and in a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
