Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to drive technical solutions for Federal government proposals. The role requires translating client needs, capture strategies, and compliance into compelling technical artifacts across systems engineering, IT, and mission support.

The candidate will own the technical strategy, lead volumes, interview SMEs, and coordinate with Business Development, Capture Managers, and partners to ensure a credible, compliant response aligned to win strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in FAR-based and OTA Federal technical solutions development.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field (8+ years of additional experience may be equivalent).
• Strong systems engineering background with multidisciplinary systems integration.
• Outstanding technical writing skills for complex proposals.
• Experience leading technical volumes and interviewing SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical architect across the pursuit lifecycle and growth team.
• Provide end-to-end thought leadership on proposal responses, including technical solution, staffing, and BOE.
• Lead the development of technical artifacts, white papers, and proposals.
• Collaborate with teaming partners to integrate capabilities and pricing strategies.
• Translate customer needs and compliance requirements into a credible proposal response.
• Mentor junior staff in responding to RFIs and RFPs.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
